ive been thinking about this for a while, but i feel like english onomatopoeia is so limited… i think english tends to describe with how something looks or using words with different connotations, but sometimes it sounds awkward when im trying to translate sounds.

English really does lack in onomatopoeia. If it starts feeling too limiting, I think it would be ok to just phonetically translate some things to English letters and leave it with a footnote?
